Start Your Own Event Planning Company at NO COST.

Starting a wedding planning business can lead to a rewarding and creative career, but it takes the same sweat equity as building any other service business.

Wedding planners serve as the point person who must bring together all of the required professionals to execute a wedding event.

That includes having ongoing and working relationships with people like the

  •   Venue Managers are responsible for getting and booking a befitting venue/space for the wedding/events

  • Catering Managers lead teams of chefs and catering assistants. They are for responsible for monitoring the quality of the food and service

  • Musicians and/or DJs(disc jockey) are responsible for musical recordings in the events.

  • Master of Ceremonies(MC) The officiant performing the wedding can use information obtained from the bride and groom to write a personalized ceremony that makes the wedding unique and special for the couple.

  • Event Designer  An event designer is responsible for the overall activities concerning an event, including idea generation, creating the final design for the event, determining the best production process to apply, and managing the event production and implementation.

  • Photographers use their technical expertise, creativity, and composition skills to produce and preserve images that visually tell a story or record an event.

  • Rental Companies to handle all rental activities

and more. And, of course, they must successfully market themselves to brides and grooms and their respective families.

Being an independent wedding planner also means running your own business. This includes tasks related to promoting yourself, invoicing and billing clients, attending networking events, maintaining business relationships, bookkeeping, and so much more. As your business grows, you may need to hire assistants to make sure everything gets done.

Because you'll spend a lot of time in your car, going from meeting to meeting, makes sure you have the tools to be able to keep up with your business responsibilities while on the road. That means you'll need a good laptop computer and/or tablet, and you should expect to spend a lot of time on your phone.
